"Abigail's Secret Recipe"
Chocolatee Chocolate Cookies
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup broken white chocolate pieces
Prepare cookie sheet(s) by greasing or non stick spray. Preheat oven to
350° F. Cream shortening, margerine, and sugar together. Add beaten eggs
and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together. Add dry mixture gradually to egg
mixture, beating as you go. Add white chocolate pieces. Roll dough into 1"
balls, place on cookie sheet, flatten. Bake 10 - 15 minutes. ENJOY!!
Tip: A little hot milk added to the butter/sugar mixture will aid the
creaming process.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
6oz chocolate chips
Prepare cookie sheet(s) ungreased or non stick spray. Preheat oven to
375° F. Cream shortening, sugars and add eggs and vanilla. Add to flour
mixture, beat, then add chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto the cookie
sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 mins. QUICK & EASY RECIPE!!
Tip: Brown sugar hard? To moisten it up, place a few slices of fresh
apple into the bag or container and cover tightly. The sugar will be soft again
in a day or two.
