Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
Recipe
9 c Unbleached flour
4 ts Baking soda
2 ts Salt
3 c Firm packed dark brown Sugar
3 c Granulated sugar
4 c Butter flavor veg. Shortening
4 c Chopped pecans (fresh nuts)
4 12-oz bags semi-sweet real Chocolate chips
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and both sugars in very large bowl. Mix in
the shortening with your fingers. Stir in the chips and nuts.
Store whole mix in airtight container in a cool dry place for up to six months.
For longer storage refrigerate or freeze.
**Tip: package the mix in individual zip-lock bags.
TO BAKE THE COOKIES: Stir the mix to distribute
the nuts and chips and then, measure seven level cups (do not pack) of the mix
into a large bowl. Stir to distribute the nuts and chips. Add two large eggs
that have been lightly beaten and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Blend well.
This creates a heavy batter, but don't worry it will work. Drop the batter by
tablespoonfuls on buttered baking sheets.
Bake in preheated 375F oven for 10 - 12 minutes. Cool slightly on sheets and
then transfer to an airtight container.
One batch makes about 2 dozen cookies.
Ben & Jerry's Giant
Giant Cookies
1/2 c Butter, room temperature
1 1/4 c Granulated sugar
1/3 c Brown sugar
1 Large egg
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1 c (+ 2 t.) all purpose flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 c Semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c Coarsely chopped walnuts
Preheat the oven to 350F. Beat the butter and both sugars in a large mixing
bowl until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
Mix the flour, salt, and baking soda in another bowl. Add the dry ingredients
to the batter and mix until well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and
walnuts.
Drop the dough by small scoops 2 to 3 inches apart on an ungreased cookie
sheet. Flatten each scoop with the back of a spoon to about 3 inches in
diameter.
Bake until the centers are still slightly soft to the touch, 11 to 14 minutes.
Let cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool
completely. Makes 12 to 15 cookies.
Chocolate Chip Bars
Cookie Recipe
3/4 c C Golden Brown Sugar -- firmly packed
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 Egg
1 1/4 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
6 oz Chocolate chip pieces
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
Cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg. Stir in dry ingredients; add
vanilla and mix. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread in greased 15 x 10-inch pan (this will be a thin layer of batter).
Bake in 375 degree oven 12 to 15 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting into 48
squares.

1 1/2 c Flour 1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1 c Butter
1/2 c Lt brown sugar
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 c Rolled oats
1 c Semisweet chocolate chips
Mix together flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Beat together buttter, brown
sugar and sugar at med speed til light and fluffy. beat in egg and vanilla at
low speed, beat in flour mixture til blended. fold in oats and chips.
Cover with plastic wrap, chill for 1 hr. Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease 2 baking sheets. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place cookies, 2"
apart on sheets. flatten each cookie slightly.
Bake until lightly browned around edges 10-12 mins. use wire racks to cool. MMM

Chewy Chocolate Chip
Recipe For Cookies
2 c Butter
2 c Sugar (granulated, -white)
2 c Brown sugar -(dark brown)
4 lg Eggs
2 ts Vanilla extract
4 c Flour (sift -before measuring)
5 c Rolled oats (oatmeal), -powdered finely
1 ts Salt
2 ts Baking soda
2 ts Baking powder
24 oz Chocolate chips
8 oz Chocolate bar, -finely grated
3 c Chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cream together the butter and the sugars.
Sift together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda, baking powder and shredded
chocolate bar.
Add eggs and vanilla to creamed sugar and butter, then mix all ingredients
together. Mix chocolate chips and nuts into mixture.
Drop by onto ungreased cookie sheet in small drops.
Bake 6 minutes or until done. Warm with a glass of milk. Absolutely great!!

Chocolate Chip
1 c Butter, softened
1 c Dark brown sugar, packed
1 c Light brown sugar, packed
1 tb Vanilla extract
2 lg Eggs
1 ts Baking powder
2 1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 ts Salt
4 c Walnuts chopped
3 c Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Cream butter in a large bowl. Beat in the sugar, a little at a time; beat
until light. Stir in vanilla extract. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir salt
into flour and add to batter. Add nuts and chocolate chips.
Chill batter for an hour and drop by 1/4 C measures 3" apart on buttered
baking sheets. Bake in the middle of a 375F oven for 12 to 15 minutes; cool on
rack.
Makes gorgeous huge gourmet style cookies.
Low Calorie Low Fat
Cookies
1/2 c Granulated sugar
1/4 c Packed brown sugar
1/4 c Margarine
1 ts Vanilla
1 Egg white
1 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Miniature semisweet Chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugars, margarine, vanilla, and egg white in
large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, you may find it easier to roll in your hand
and place on sheet, the dough tends to be very crumbly. 2 inches apart onto
ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly; remove from cookie
sheet. Cool on wire rack.
These cookies are great. 8 minutes to bake. Cool on the sheets for about 5
minutes before easily moving them to cooling racks.
Don't be alarmed by the crumbly look of the dough, they turn out magnificantly.
They taste as sinful as the high calorie ones!

1/2 ts Vanilla
1 Egg
1 c Flour
1/2 c Oats (quick or regular
1 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1 pk 6 oz semisweet chocolate Chips
Heat oven to 350F. Beat sugars, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and egg in a
medium bowl, until creamy and well blended. Mix in flour, oats, baking soda and
salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreas- ed cookie
sheet. 3. Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.
