Apple Ice Beverage Recipe

Yield: 4 Servings

1 pk Stouffer's escalloped apples
2 tb Grenadine syrup; + 1-1/2 tsp Defrosted
1 ts Lemon juice
12 Ice cubes
1/2 c Rum
1/2 c Orange juice

Empty apples into blender; add ice cubes, orange juice, grenadine, lemon juice and rum. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes. Pour apple mixture into chilled glasses. If desired, top with a dollop of whipped cream. NOTE: Can be made 1 hour ahead of time and kept in freezer until ready to serve.


Apple Gate Island Hummer Beverage

Yield: 2 Servings

1 oz Creme de menthe
1 oz Brandy
2 Scoops vanilla ice cream

Soften the ice cream a little before adding to other ingredients. Blend until creamy and enjoy. Mix all ingredients together and have a wonderful afternoon!


Crockpot Apple Cider Drink Recipe

Yield: 20 Servings

1 gal Apple Cider
12 Whole cloves
3 3-inch cinnamon sticks
2 Whole nutmegs
2 Chunks crystalized ginger

Dump all ingredients in crockpot. Heat on high for 2 hours, and on low to keep warm until ready to serve.

Hot Apple Cider Recipe

Yield: 8 Servings

4 c Apple Juice, or cider
1 c Water
1/2 c Brown Sugar
3 c Orange Juice
3 tb Lemon Juice
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1 3 In. Cinnamon Stick

Mix together. Bring to boil. Simmer. Can be made in 30 cup coffee pot.

Mulled Apple Cider

Yield: 2 Quarts

2 qt Fresh apple cider
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/8 ts Thyme
1/2 ts Ginger powder
7 ea Sticks cinnamon
1 tb Finely crushed sweet basil

In a large enameled pot, gently simmer the juice with the spices for 7 minutes. Break the cinnamon sticks, placing a portion in each tankard or chalice or glass. Pour on warmed cider. Sprinkle sweet basil sparingly on top.

Sparkling Apple Punch Recipe

Yield: 16 Cups

2 Cinnamon sticks
64 oz Apple juice
2 c Unsweetened orange juice
2 (25.4 oz)bottles sparkling -apple cider
Icy fruit wreath

Drop cinnamon sticks into bottle of apple juice; chill atleast 2 hours. Pour juice into a large punch bowl, discarding cinnamon. Pour in orange juice and apple cider. Add Icy Fruit Wreath.

Apple Spiced Iced Tea Recipe

Yield: 2 Quarts

2 md Sweet tart apples
3/4 tb Cinnamon
1 1/2 tb Sugar
6 Teabags of orange peako tea
Water
Ice

1) Slice the apples into thin slices and remove the cores and seeds... place « of the slices in the steeping pot...

2) Mix the cinnamon and the sugar until it is uniform in color... then sprinkle it over the apple slices in the steeping pot...

3) Follow the directions to make Iced tea that came with the machine... add the teabags to the steeping pot on top of the apples... Add the remaining apple slices to the pitcher on top of the ice... assemble the machine and the pitcher and turn it on...

4) add the apple slices from the steeping pot to the pitcher when the tea is done along with more ice to fill the pitcher... stir vigorously and serve...

Wassail Bowl Recipe

Yield: 12 Servings

3 sm Apples
1 3" stick of cinnamon
1 2" piece dried ginger root
4 Coriander seeds
3 Whole cloves
3 Whole allspice berries
2 Cardamom seeds
1 c Water
1 c Sugar
1/2 ts Freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 ts Mace
4 1/2 c Ale
3 c Dry sherry or madeira
3 Eggs, separated

Wash, core and bake the apples at 350F. for 30 to 45 minutes or until tender, but not mushy. Tie all of the whole spices together in a cheesecloth bag. Combine the water and sugar in a large pot. Add the spice bag, grated nutmeg and mace. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the ale and sherry. Heat to just below the boiling point.

Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff and beat the egg yolks until thick. Fold the whites into the yolks in a heatproof punch bowl. Remove the spice bag and add the heated liquid very gradually to the eggs, stirring briskly after each addition. Float the roasted apples on top. Serve hot.
