Sidewalk Hopscotch Paint
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
6-8 drops food coloring
Mix cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl, dissolving the cornstarch well.
Add food coloring and stir. Repeat these steps for every color you make. The
sidewalk paint is easily washed away with water.
Bubble Blowing Mix
¼ cup liquid dish liquid
soap
½ cup water
1 tsp sugar
Dissolve the sugar into the water then add the liquid soap. Store the bubble
solution in an air-tight container. To use, put the solution into a flat
container, like a pie tin, for easy use. Blow bubbles with the bubble blowing
mix using a plastic.
Outside Sidewalk Chalk
Plaster of Paris
Water
Water colored Tempra paint or food coloring
Cardboard toilet paper tubes
Mix 2 quarts of Plaster of Paris with 1 quart water. Divide into as many parts
as you want different colors. Mix in paint or food coloring until it reaches
the desired color. Pour into toilet paper tubes (about 3" high). Let dry
your sidewalk chalk completely. Remove from tubes by peeling away.
